The Nuremberg trials as a manifestation of international solidarity against nazism

The Nuremberg Tribunal, which took place from 20 November 1945 to 1 October 1946, became an important milestone in the history of international criminal law and humanity as a whole. This is the first trial in which officials - the military and political leaders of Germany - were prosecuted for waging an aggressive war. This was the first historical experience, that resulted in real punishments for those who were usually condemned only by the human conscience. The authors appeal to this process and its significance in history because of the recent historical events distortion that happen nowadays.
