Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is a disease accompanied by inflammatory infiltration of the liver parenchyma and stroma with the presence of focal necrosis. NASH is an intermediate link between the successive stages of a single pathological process (non-alcoholic steatosis and non-alcoholic steatofibrosis), a form of independent metabolic disease - non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Since the list of diseases kxt – 10 does not contain a single code reflecting the completeness of the diagnosis of NAFLD, currently the most commonly used is: K 76.0 - fatty liver degeneration, not classified in other headings. This article contains the necessary information about the course and prevention of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis in addition to the above information.
