The spread, course and prevention of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis

Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is a disease accompanied by inflammatory infiltration of the liver parenchyma and stroma with the presence of focal necrosis. NASH is an intermediate link between the successive stages of a single pathological process (non-alcoholic steatosis and non-alcoholic steatofibrosis), a form of independent metabolic disease - non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
