Nomadism in inner Mongolia autonomous region of People's Republic of China in the conditions of industrial pressure on pasturable territories

The article is devoted to problems of modern cattle breeding in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous region the in conditions of industrial pressure and modernization of economy of China. Based on statistical data, characteristics of industrial and resource capacity of the region are provided, dynamics and tendencies of growth of the main socio-economic indexes for the last decades are shown. The author touches privatization of pastures, which is the basic issue of cattle breeding functioning. The secondary analysis of the researches on cattle breeding problems in the modern world and results of the field expedition show systematic and purposeful policy of China on substitution of nomadic cattle breeding for stationary pasturable kind.
