The article presents an analysis of the current Russian regulatory framework regulating the implementation of preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, restrictive and other measures, the establishment and cancellation of quarantine and other restrictions on the territory of the Russian Federation aimed at preventing the spread and elimination of foci of infectious and other diseases in industrial duck breeding, including: Newcastle disease, duck viral hepatitis, viral enteritis, highly pathogenic avian influenza, infectious sinusitis, coronavirus disease, ornithosis, salmonellosis, pullorosis, pasteurellosis, mycoplasmosis, colibacteriosis. The authors conclude that a significant proportion of the regulatory framework does not take into account the peculiarities of ducks as a species, as well as their industrial breeding and maintenance, which requires its improvement.
