Regulatory regulation of production of organic livestock production in Russia and EU

To organize the production of organic livestock products, it is necessary to ensure legal regulation of the development of this type of agricultural activity. The purpose of the study is to compare the legal regulation of the production of organic livestock products in Russia and the EU. In 2018, the draft law «On the production of organic products» was introduced to the State Duma. In 2014-2015 GOST R 56104-2014 «Organic food products. Terms and definitions», GOST R 56508-2015 «Organic products. Rules of production, storage, transportation», close to the basic IFOAM standards and EU regulations on environmental production and labeling of environmental products №834/2007. The study and knowledge of the rules of organic animal husbandry is necessary for specialists of agricultural organizations.
