Higher education legal regulaton: challenges and solutions

Topical issues of legal regulation of higher education institutions are considered. The expediency of reducing excessive requirements for the submission of documents during the licensing procedure, changing approaches to state accreditation, as well as requirements for individuals from among practitioners involved in the educational process, is substantiated. Measures are proposed to remove the existing unjustified administrative barriers.
