The author recognizes legal norms, as fundamental units of laws and other regulatory acts, as well as legislation in general, as one of the main elements of the mechanism for legal regulation. The article provides a detailed examination of Russia's current insolvency (bankruptcy) legislation. Key aspects of bankruptcy law are discussed, including its interaction with other laws such as the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, and the competition between the Bankruptcy Law and the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.
