Notarial institutions of the Far East in the period of 1918-1923

On the basis of archival materials, the article considers historical conditions, the foundations of the legal framework and the features of the notarial system functioning in the Russian Far East during the Civil War. The author describes in general the three types of notarial organizations established during this period and makes conclusions about the value of the notarial institution for the Far Eastern society.
