В литературе вопросы лечения пациентов с разрывами ахиллова сухожилия начинаются с диагностики и постановки диагноза. В зависимости от классификации разрыва ахиллова сухожилия определяется тактика лечения. Существующая классификация разрывов ахиллова сухожилия, с нашей точки зрения, недостаточно отражает и систематизирует подход к хирургическому лечению, что послужило более детальному изучению и дополнению существующей классификации разрывов ахиллова сухожилия.
