New coronavirus infection: review of materials on the problem and some aspects of the observance of human and civil rights and freedoms

The article reviews the history of the emergence and development of a new coronavirus infection COVID-19. The reasons for the global spread of COVID-19 which became a worldwide pandemic are analyzed. Mechanisms and ways of transmission, impact on human body, possible complications after the disease were studied. The measures of state response to prevent the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus, such as introduction of high alert regime, self-isolation, mask regime, social distance, certification on vaccination or suffered the disease are considered. The necessity and legality of state measures to prevent the spread of a new coronavirus infection were analyzed. Topicality of the chosen theme is explained by avalanche-like spread of COVID-19 with high lethality rate both in the territory of Russia and other states. The dependence of limitations and violations of human and civil rights and freedoms by authorities in connection with sanitary and epidemiological measures to prevent pandemic caused by new coronavirus infection COVID-19 is considered.
