The latest researches on children as an object of demographic situation and the social policy of the state in the period of the Great Patriotic War (by case study of Bashkir ASSR)

The article is devoted to the analysis of a number of scientific publications which by case study of Bashkir ASSR, one of the largest regions of Russia, raises the current scientific issues concerning various social and demographic aspects connected with such specific category as children. The author focuses on publications in which researchers do not only apply interdisciplinary research methods, but using the new corpus of different archival documents also provide an unbiased assessment of many difficult demographic and social processes that took place in 1941-1945 in Bashkir ASSR and have not received due consideration in the domestic historiography.
