New digital tendency in visual art

There is shown one of the newest tendencies of digital visual art - ASCII-art. New terminology is being implemented «askitism», «classical askitism», «and dynamic poetry». There is discussed the place of askitism among other tendencies and kinds of visual art. The author's classification of askitism according to various criteria is given.
