Malaya Syya the Upper Paleolithic site is situated in the Southern Siberia, at the joint of the eastern Kuznetsky Ala Tau foothills and Minusinsk hollow. The site is in Chulym river basin and confined to Middle Bely Uyus river. The occurrence belong to western slope of the ravine dissecting the left side of river valley. The position of the site is 54°24’1.96” N, 89°26’34.64” E in his central point. The primary archaeological investigation of this site was provided in 1974-1975, team of IHPP SB RAS realized the stationary excavations at the site in 1975-1981 and 1992, 2000. Team of IAET SB RAS renewed the archaeological field research here in 2013. As a result the excavations of 1975-1981 allowed getting the radiocarbon dates which didn''t decide the problem associated to chronostratigraphic position of the Upper Paleolithic complex. This article presents the absolute dating results of the samples from the sediments with cultural remains. It offers to discuss the new radiocarbon dates received in AMS lab of the University of Arizona (Tucson, Arizona, USA). The new results gave the stable series of dates and opportunity to determine the chronology of the site more steadily. The new dates are compared with published dates according to stated opinions about climate-stratigraphic specifics of the culture-contained sediments. The new materials confirm the point of view, which considers this complex in the context of the Early Upper Paleolithic cultures in the Southern Siberia.
