The article is devoted to preliminary results of multidisciplinary study at the Darvagchai-zaliv-1 site (South Eastern Dagestan). This cultural chronological complex was investigated 87 m 2 in area during 2011-2014. The result stratigraphic profile represents the subaerial covering deposits in the form of various sandy and clay loams. Sediment genesis is Aeolian and biogenic with slight impact of diluvial processes. This archaeological complex are associated with layer 3 (paleosoil), where small in number quantity, but very illustrative collection was found. Levallois technique and typical Middle Paleolithic tool kit characterize the lithic assemblage. The technico-typological specifics of the stone industry with discernable Levallois traits suggest the peculiar character of Middle Paleolithic in the South Eastern Dagestan. The complex archaeological and stratigraphic data determine the age of industry. The industrial character allows determining her lifetime as the Initial Upper Paleolithic. The sedimentation of the heavy soil horizon (within the limits of 1,5 m) has to be associated with warm and wet conditions, which characterized the Riss-Wurm interglaciation. This fossil paleosoil (layer 3) formed during the paleomagnetic chron Brunhes, possibly Blake episode, as conducted in 2014 the paleolmagnetic study of cross-section supposes. The common multidisciplinary data likely evidence that archaeological materials accumulated in the layer 3 during 70-130 ka (MIS 5).
