The paper presents results of studying Upper Paleolithic materials from the Kapova cave by the South-Uralian expedition, Moscow State University in 2009-2010. In the Dome hall cultural deposit contained charcoal and red ochre, pointing to a spot of a Palaeolithic artist's short-time activity. Stratigraphy suggests its Upper Palaeolithic age. The cultural deposit was located near a huge stone block fallen from the wall. In 2008 on the block rock paintings were discovered, including a partial zoomorphic drawing. On the modern ground surface two limestone plates with fragments of ancient drawings were revealed. A scheme reconstructing Palaeolithic man's activity in different halls of the cave is suggested.
