New directions of state and public initiatives to preserve and enhance the cultural and historical heritage of Russia

The article discusses new approaches of the State in working on the preservation and popularization of cultural heritage sites. The goals and objectives of the “Regional standard for the preservation and enhancement of the cultural and historical heritage of Russia” are considered. Its practical significance is emphasized as a toolkit for Russian regions, a set of actually existing practices for the preservation of cultural heritage.
