Concepts of variation choice, exchange processes and operations of diagnostics and forecast are examined in the article. Generalization of Leontiev's and Neumann's models are involved. The research is implemented under inter-disciplinary program of the Urals Department of RAS 'Historical dynamics of Russia: factors, models, forecasting'.
