New images of education: socio-philosophical grounds

The article analyzes the features of modern Russian education system from the socio-philosophical perspective. An analysis of the types of postmodern rationality of education images evolved under the pressure reveals its development trends. We characterize such trends as dehumanization and formalization of the educational environment, inculcation of the principles of consumption in the education system, which have determined the introduction of market mechanisms, marketing technologies, managerialism, as well as the specific efficiency and calculability of the educational services market. In our view, new images are defined by the production of knowledge simulacra and formalization of the educational process. It is substantiated that the "hyperreality" of simulacra distributes formal quantitative indicators and ranking for assessing the quality of the educational process, its results and the activities of all its participants. It is argued that the collapse of traditional images of education, associated with the devaluation of educational results due to their rapid obsolescence, can be compensated by the implementation of the methodology of the existential-personalist paradigm, which actualizes heuristic teaching methods, individual routing and technologies of the system-activity approach.
