New promising directions for the development of strategic partnership between Russia and ASEAN

The article analyzes the historical aspects and basic foundations of partnership relations between Russia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Current challenges and possible prospects for deepening cooperation are considered. The main emphasis is placed on new areas of strategic cooperation, including economic partnership, energy security, development of digital technologies and environmental projects. In addition, the article offers forecasts on the future development of relations between Russia and ASEAN in the context of global transformations and ensuring regional security.
