New rules for the termination of criminal prosecution against a suspect (accused) participating in a special military operation: theoretical and practical aspects

The article analyzes new norms of the criminal and criminal procedure law, which make it possible to terminate the criminal prosecution against a suspect (accused) recruited for participation in a special military operation. In the course of study, the author draws attention to the problematic issues that arise when making this decision by the preliminary investigation bodies in relation to a participant in a special military operation, and makes appropriate recommendations to overcome them. The author comes to the conclusion about the necessity for further improvement of this legal institution.
