New English words in information technology vocabulary

The article shows the list of new English words related to the field of information technologies and the impact of information technologies on the English language. The definitions of these words as well as their word-building models are given. The article describes the patterns which are used to form new lexical items. It is analysed that affixation, blending, compounding, contraction (shortening) are the most productive types of word formation.
