New tracks in the investment behavior of regional enterprises

The proposed article work considers the results of monitoring the investment activity of non-financial enterprises on the example of a particular region through the prism of their investment strategy and investment behavior. It is shown that the trend of increasing conservatism in the investment behavior of the companies under study, noticeable over the past twenty years, was broken during the pandemic, which required more complex and progressive investment decisions from enterprises. In general, the trend towards more complex investment strategies of enterprises, characteristic of the last six years, was accompanied by a decrease in the level of their progressiveness and the predominant share of investment behavior with the progressiveness of investment activity motives fading after the rise of “zero” progressiveness.
