The article examines in detail the factors (trends) influencing the study of strategic management and the development of practical work in this direction. These include deglobalization, digitalization, diversity and sustainability. The main directions, which, according to the authors, will turn out to be the main ones in the field of theoretical developments of strategic management, include the study of the nature of the target function of the organization, new concepts and tools of industry analysis, innovations in the field of business models and non-hierarchical approaches to the organization of the company's activities.
