Patients with defects of foot short tubular bones increase in number at present. The known techniques for filling with free allo- and autografts as well as use of blood-supplied autografts doesn't provide proper restoration of anatomical integrity of metatarsal bones. We have filled defects of foot short tubular bones according to Ilizarov technique, for this purpose new configurations of the devices have been worked out. Two clinical cases are given where such configurations are used. Owing to using the new configurations of the Ilizarov device conditions are created for for stable and independent fixation of the fragments formed with the possibility of their independent, directed and graduated movement.
