A new research stage of Krokhalevka-5, -11 sites (Novosibirsk part of Ob region)

The new stage of the complex field research was started on the burial ground Krokhalevo-5 and on the settlement Krokhalevo-11. These objects are part of Krokhalevo Archaeological Micro District which is one of the largest in the Ob River valley in the Novosibirsk Region. We investigated 105 archaeological complexes with different cultural and chronological attributions on the 265 sq.m. There were found traces of the Eneolithic - Bronze Age construction and 21 burials. Ritual objects belong at least to 4 different burial grounds: Bronze Age (before Andronovo Period (Krokhalevo culture?) and Mix Andronovo culture group), Early Iron Age (Bolsherechenskaya Culture) and Medieval Time (1 st half of II thousand AD).
