The New Silk Road: the open door policy of China

The New Silk Road is a global geopolitical project of transport, energy and trade corridor between Central and South Asia, Europe and Russia, initiated by the leader of China Xi Jinping in 2013. The strategy of the New Silk Road, which includes the Silk Road economic belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, is the result of the open door policy of Deng Xiaoping. At present, China is taking active steps to implement the project. The New Silk Road is beneficial to all countries involved in the project, and can be the basis of systemic shift in the geopolitics of the world. In this regard, the issue of the understanding the prospects of Russia in conditions of New Silk Road becomes very important.
