New silk road: possible options to achieve Russia's social and economic interests

The implementation of the Chinese New Silk Road project into global economic relations allows Russia to use it in pursuit of its socio-economic interests. The aim of the study is to identify possible ways for achieving these interests, with a particular focus on aspects of the humanities field. The need to deepen a favourable atmosphere for humanitarian exchange and cooperation within a broad array of socio-economic interactions between the two civilizations is substantiated. Thus, in the field of humanitarian exchanges it is proposed to use the rich potential of Russian estates, which, however, require investment in their revitalization, restoration and reconstruction on both the Russian side and the Chinese side. The paper shows that the range of domestic industrial, agricultural, logistics and leisure facilities involved in this project suggests enormous socio-economic benefits for labour markets, innovation and tourism services, as well as humanitarian exchanges.
