The variety of white mustard Bella was bred in 2011-2018 using the multiple individual selections from the variety Raduga in the Siberian experimental station - a branch of the V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops (Omsk region, Isilkul) with the participation of breeders from the V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops (Krasnodar). According to the competitive trials for 2017-2018 in the conditions of Western Siberia, the variety Bella exceeded the standard variety Raduga in seed yield by 0.34 t per ha, oil yield - by 0.10 t per ha. The variety is early maturing; vegetative period differs lasts for 77-78 days. It from the standard variety Raduga by quite low erucic acid content in oil (up to 1%), number of branches per plant (6-8 pcs.), uniformity of plants by flowering and maturation. The variety was submitted to the State variety trial in 2018.
