The article shows the improvement of the organization and modernization of the content, forms and methods of moral and patriotic education at secondary school in Eastern Siberia at the beginning of the XX century. It reveals the signs of the positive and negative changes in the organization of moral and patriotic education of pupils. The logic of the development of this process is defined.
