Moral content of modern bioethics: humanism vs transhumanism

The purpose of this work is to study the axiological foundations and moral content of modern bioethics as an integral science and area of interdisciplinary research, as well as to analyze modern biomedical technologies in the context of their humanistic and transhumanistic content. During the research, methods of logical and philosophical analysis, methods of the empirical level, principles of objectivity and humanism were used. As a result of the study, the author comes to the conclusion that modern bioethics is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon, based on an unconditional humanistic idea, but in its development it claims to be a transhumanist turn and moral degradation.
