The moral principles of the execution of criminal penalties

The article examines the moral principles of the execution of criminal punishments (both related and unrelated to imprisonment). It is noted that the appointment and execution of punishments for illegal acts in itself meets the requirements of morality. It is stated that spiritual education is an important component of the correction of convicts. The moral potential of probation legislation is described. Amendments to the Penal Enforcement Code of the Russian Federation are proposed.
