On dynamic processes in syntactic joints: grammatic and punctuative aspects

Бесплатный доступ

The article deals with the distant periphery of the field of syntactic joints - discoursive words and their counterparts - which is the crossing area for conjunctional joints and parenthetical-modal words. The author concentrates on parenthetical units, denoting metatext. The aim of the article is to analyze these conjunctional joints within structural-semantic (in the modern sense), as well as dynamic methods, and also to evaluate the level of scientific basis and unity behind the modern norms of punctuative appearance of periphery conjunctional joints. Because of that, the article offers a look at relations between parenthetical words and conjunctions as an active process (the drawing of parenthetical words into the field of conjunctional joints, formation of syncretic semantic of the studied language units). On the other hand, the author analyzes the recommendations provided in modern punctuation guides regarding the execution of hybrid syntactic joints, relying on criteria of unity and scientific basis, and shows that such guides contain implicit information on active processes in this field.
