On the financial and legal status of sciences and the features of its implementation

The article offers a general overview of the special status of a science city associated with state support of such municipalities. In the publication, the authors conduct an in-depth study of the current state of mechanisms of state support for municipalities that have the status of science cities of the Russian Federation. The authors consider the possible consequences of including the intellectual and production potential of science cities in economic relations, as well as possible ways to preserve and effectively use the intellectual potential.
