On the formats and properties of F. M. Dostoevsky’s narrative pragmatics. Part 2: letters and journalism

The article examines a set of poetic figures that F.M. Dostoevsky used in his creative practice, forming a stable and productive contact with readers of his journalistic works and respondents of letters, in order to establish a stable dialogical connection and improve the quality of perception of the information contained in the texts. The article analyzes the linguistic means by which the reader’s attention was actualized, his memory and creative intention were involved as perception factors. In the process of the necessary live communication with the implicit reader, the exchange of remarks, questions and assumptions with him, which comprised a significant number of diverse forms, the writer maintained a state of “positively acceptable” attention to his text. The article traces in the dynamics, from the early period of creativity to the time of the “Pushkin Speech”, the narrative means specific to each time that performed this task. The article analyzes the structure of artistic communication, assuming at least three instances participating in it, with clarification of its specific role in the task of building a new culture embedded in the soil project of F.M. and M.M. Dostoevsky, A.A. Grigoriev and N.N. Strakhov. It turns out the close connection that existed between the pragmatics of soil science, artistic pragmatics in the works of the writer and those forms of communication with the reader that turned the artistic and literary dialogue with the reader into a procedure for cultivating the moral and ontological status of a person.
