On the development of critical thinking among students by means of mathematical disciplines

The possibilities of using technology for the development of critical thinking in the process of teaching mathematical disciplines at undergraduate level are considered. The experience of developing competence in the category “System and critical thinking” among undergraduate students of direction 44.03.01 “Pedagogical education” using educational disciplines of the algebraic cycle is presented, using the example of working with definitions of concepts.
