On the formation of the main component of the adaptation of law enforcement officers to activities in extreme situations

The author believes that, as in general, the problem of personnel adaptation to actions in extreme situations, and, in particular, the issues of forming its main component - emotional and volitional stability, unfortunately, have not been adequately reflected in the system of service training of law enforcement officers of the Russian Federation. The lack of scientific and methodological study of the problem outlined in the article has a negative impact on practice, since most of the leaders of training sessions have a weak understanding of the essence of the problem, and the methods of psychological training of personnel to act in extreme situations, applied haphazardly, do not become the subject of conscious and systematic efforts of the commanding staff.
