On the formation of professional competencies in the training of future specialists in finance and accounting

The article is devoted to the study of the issues of training specialists in the financial and accounting sphere, corresponding to the needs of the modern digital economy. The current trends in the labor market and the professional specifics of the activities of specialists in this field are analyzed, and the importance of their possession of both traditional financial competencies and advanced digital skills, such as working with big data and business intelligence systems (BI-systems), is emphasized. The paper discusses current trends in training future financiers by integrating information and communication technologies into the educational process, developing special educational and methodological complexes, and emphasizing the need to develop analytical skills for successful professional activities.
