In this article, “silver” mentoring is considered as an important element of the personnel policy of a professional educational organization, helping to solve a number of organizational problems, including adaptation and training of young teachers. The authors' attention is focused on organizing the work of “silver” mentors as a mechanism for strengthening ties between generations.
