Verbal forms in the research into the author’s features of a British text

Citation in an English text is studied along with some other cross-textual elements; their cumulative density in the document is assessed. Verbal forms as the most powerful carriers of meaning in citations and document as a whole are identified and compared with regard to the author’s point of view, voice, etc.
