About a conference of zone association of literary critics of the Volga region-2018

The zone association of literary critics of the Volga region is 58 years. It was created at the initiative of literary departments of the Kuibyshev teacher's college (nowadays Samara state social and pedagogical university). In May, 1960 the first conference of literary critics of the Volga region - in KGPI in which 12 higher education institutions of the Volga region took part. During 58 years 35 conferences were held. Today over 50 departments participate in the association. If in the 1960s departments of teacher's colleges, then now the universities and also literary departments of other Volga region higher education institutions were participants. Such famous Soviet literary critics as Ya.A. Rotkovich, V.A. Bochkaryov, E.I. Pokusayev, L.G. Barag, A.A. Demchenko, I.P. Shcheblykin, V.V. Prozorov, E.G. Bushkanets, M.L. Nolman, N.S. Travushkin, M.T. Pinayev, G.M. Akimova, I.E. Karpukhin, D.N. Medrish, G.V. Moskvicheva, Yu.V. Lebedev, S.S. Konkin, P.A. Bugayenko, V.P. Skobelev, I.M. Mashbits-Verov, L.A. Fink, I.V. Popov, N.A. Gulyaev, K.D. Vishnevsky, V.N. Kasatkina-Anoshkina, E I. Volgina and many others were at the origins of the association.
