Confiscation of property in the criminal law of Russia

This article takes a look at the issues of property confiscation in the criminal law that as a kind of punishment was abolished in the year of 2003, however, the same measure under criminal law is still in effect. Some aspects of property confiscation in the criminal law, that sets it apart from punishment when and in connection with crime which it is applied, are explored in the article; too.
