On quantum description of the motion of a particle in viscous resistance medium

Бесплатный доступ

Based on the formalism of canonical quantization, the motion of a quantum particle in viscous resistance medium is considered. It is shown that the initial coherent state of a particle asymptotically evolving to a state described by a wave function of the static movement is traced. The temporal dynamics of the «coordinate-momentum» uncertainty relation is analyzed in detail. It is established that viscous resistance suppresses the quantum properties of a particle, highlighting its classical features over time. The above model is proposed to be used to describe the motion of nonrelativistic particles in registration devices such as bubble chambers.
