About the methodological bases of studying the language of P. A. Vyazemsky's poetry

The author interprets the concept of “methodological bases” as “a set of fundamental scientific concepts, principles and methods of a research”. The uniqueness of the poetic creativity of P. A. Vyazemsky is shown not only in an exceptional genre variety, but also in the use of various linguoconceptual layers and stylistic resources of the Russian language, which requires special study of the theoretical foundations of the linguistic study of his idiostyle.
