On some aspects of improving the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of social support for families with children

This article analyzes the legislative changes that have been introduced in order to provide material guarantees for families with children. The study was conducted on the basis of an analysis of the amount of child care benefits provided to families with children. The results of the study showed that the amount of benefits does not always meet the needs of the family and does not provide an adequate level of financial support. In this regard, the author of the article suggests new solutions aimed at increasing the birth rate and improving the demographic situation in the country. The proposed measures may include an increase in the amount of benefits and the duration of the monthly child care allowance, the construction of new preschool educational institutions, as well as further development of the social support system for single parents and large families. As a result of the conducted research, the author comes to the conclusion that appropriate changes are needed in the legislation on social security for families with children.
