The article discusses the features and some guidelines associated with application of the regulations of the Chapter 32.1 of the Russian Federation Code of Criminal Procedure (abbreviated form of inquiry). The author makes a conclusion concerning positive and negative aspects of the inquiry in an abbreviated form.
