About some structural changes in the Russian labor market

The article presents the results of a study of the current state of the Russian labor market, due to the influence of both demographic and structural, economic, social, scientific and technological factors. A study has been conducted on the dynamics of organizations’ need for workers, including by type of economic activity, indicators of tension in the Russian labor market, unemployment and underutilization of labor, and personnel movement. The assessment of the structure of the employed according to the level of education, the number of graduates of educational organizations of the Russian Federation and their employment in the specialty is carried out. The analysis of absolute and relative indicators characterizing the level of the current shortage of employees is carried out, an assessment of the possibilities of solving the personnel problem and the importance of aggravating factors are given. The trends that have developed in the structure of the employed population in terms of education level as the most important qualitative characteristic of the labor market in the context of human potential development have been identified.
