About some issues of detection, fixation and removal of traces during the theft of cryptocurrency mining equipment

The article discusses and lists the circumstances that contribute to the development and popularization of such a phenomenon as mining in the Russian Federation, lists the most frequent locations of such equipment, and considers the reasons for the increased attention to these devices by criminals. The features of the operation of mining equipment that contribute to its detection by criminals are analyzed. The purpose of the article is to summarize the key features of the functioning of mining equipment and, based on these features, to model the possible behavior of a criminal when committing theft of mining equipment, for a better inspection of the scene of incidents in order to detect, fix and remove traces left by criminals. The tasks were implemented using general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, dialectical method) and the formal legal method.
