Concerning the need to revive the patriotic education of future naval specialists

The article deals with the modern training of junior naval professionals. In this context particular attention is paid to the similar system of education that existed in the 1960-s and supported the training of highly qualified naval specialists. According to the author, the ground of the qualitative training was patriotic education, the principles of which were lost during the change of the political structure of the country. The author comes to the conclusion that there is a need for organization of the Youth Patriotic Union for decent patriotic education of modern coast guard officers.
