On the necessity of legislative clarification of the list of legal sources of operational-search activity

The article considers the content of Art. 4 of the Federal Law "On Operational-Search Activity" including a list of legal sources of operational search activity; gaps and other drawbacks in this construction related to the lack of principles and regulations of the international law and treaties ratified by the Russian Federation are noted; correlation of normative and legal acts and normative ones mentioned in the Article are analyzed. Proposals on the improvement of the analyzed provisions are introduced.
