On non-preferential rules of origin of goods under their import to the EAEU customs territory south

The increasing role of non-tariff regulation of foreign trade in the EAEU, the policy of import substitution in the Russian Federation, and the application of special economic measures in relation to a number of foreign states are manifested in improving the mechanism for monitoring compliance with the origin of imported goods. The article discusses the features of non-preferential rules of origin of foreign goods when they are imported into the customs territory of the EAEU, analyzes the possible consequences associated with the implementation of the new rules, assesses the advantages of an electronic system for verifying the origin of goods.
